jaguar 3.8 litre long block

Description: Please note: I will be away until July 22, so if you purchase there will be a delay before the engine can be shipped Jaguar 3.8 litre long block from a Mk X. NO CARBS, NO INTAKE MANIFOLD, NO EXHAUST . Has 4,2 litre cams. Was rebuilt around 25 years ago by a professional and has been in dry storage in a container in the Southwest for the last fifteen years. Has the gold top, 9.1 cylinder head. I originally intended it for a racing special that had a barrel crankcase Lagonda 2.6 litre engine. Needed more power, hence the Jaguar but never installed it. The Special was sold some years back and the new owner put in a a Rover V-8 and didn't want my engines. I'm in my 80's now, so the number of car projects gets a bit limited and I'd like for the engine to go to a new home where someone can get some use out of it rather than sitting in storage for years and years. The engine will be carefully put on a pallet ready for pickup and can maybe be delivered to a shipper as well. It will be up to you to arrange shipping. I have listed ten days for preparation, getting it on a pallet and to a LOCAL shipping point. It is located in Tucson, AZ. You can pick it up in person if suitable arrangements are made.
