Description: JABO Mamie's Sistersville Marble Watercolor MagicMINTRun Date: 9/20/10 This is a very unusual Mamie's Sistersville marble due to the way it resembles a watercolor painting. For some reason unbeknownst to me, the way these glasses mixed and then cooled down provides one of the most striking Mamie's I have seen. There were other runs done previous that had some similar effects including Rainbow marble run. If you like this style, you might try to find some of those marbles. The Sistersville city is a famous marble city because so many JABO marble festivals have been held there. It is my dream to one day attend one of these great marble events, but things are not proving to make this very likely in the near future. In any case, this is easily a very collectable piece that would sit proudly in any collection. I try my best to take high resolution pictures with my DSLR flash to show exactly what you are getting. I try to rotate the marble to give multiple views. This marble was manufactured using the 3/4" machine and the size of this particular marble is 0.703" in diameter. Note: please notice that this marble is slightly smaller than the average JABO that normally runs a bit bigger. The mint quality is nice, though, so don't be scared off by the size...just be aware.
