Description: Johann Andreas Naumann Antique Tinted Book Plate. Originally printed in Naumann's "Naturgeschichte der Vgel Deutschlands" printed in early 19th c. Germany. a book c.1822. This tinted book plate is of the Parus Pendulinus (Pendulum Tit) Birds w/ Nest. It is framed in an Antique Adirondack Dark Wood Frame with Porcelain Corner Buttons. The matte is archival but is not professionally done. Some discoloration to the paper. The colors are lovely. The frame has some signs of wear from age but is lovely and had a wire for hanging. Approx. 13"16" total size. The image is 6.25"9.25". See pics.
