Not sure what type of wood this is, the color is a light warm brown with some random dark striations. Hand carved with raised veining inside the bowl and a hammered look to the exterior. This large bowl measures 14" long, 6" wide and is nice and 2 1/2" tall. Marked on the bottom Made in Italy with the maker's mark. The mark is a little hard to make out...it looks like G. Pecorinias? In excellent condition…
