It honors Italian-Americans who contributed to making baseball America’s national game. It is a limited edition of just 10,000 images and was made from a rich, original oil portrait. Card size is the modern standard of 2-1/2" by 3-1/2" on a high quality, thick (16 gauge) stock which has been heavily coated with a ultraviolet inhibitor to prevent fading. A distinctive gold* border with player name further enhances the look of the front of this card. On the back, a thoughtful biographical information provides insight to the player besides his vital statistics and selected baseball stats. The card is numbered in the lower right corner and carries copyright information and logos of National Ethnic Heritage Foundation (NEHF) and Sons of Italy Foundation (OSIA).
