These "Issai Hardy Kiwis" are the "Smooth Skin kind" in the Pictures. The Fuzzy Skin you see in the Smoothie picture is from a Regular (deliciosa) Kiwi like we can see in our Grocery Stores here in the US. "Issai Hardy Kiwis" are a Rare Tropical Species that has "Smooth Skin" that Never has to be Peeled. The Smoothie Picture with the (deliciosa) above is merely for "reference and descriptive measures only." Issai Kiwi Germination: Just like any other Tropical Seed, Patience is required with Kiwi seeds, but definitely worth the wait. Cold Stratify them by Storing them in a Moist medium (peat moss or vermiculite) placed in the Refrigerator at 45* degrees F* for the appx. 90 Days, then Sow them in seed starting mix at 70+ degrees F*. Use a heated propagator set to 75+ Degrees F* will Drastically Improve Germination Results and Helps to Speed up most Seed's Sprouting time. If there is no germination after a few weeks, just clean & re-refrigerate the seeds as they're still good. After 4-8 more weeks, take the seeds out again and keep your heated propagator under them in a warm space or environment. With the transition from cold (winter) to heat (spring), the period of dormancy has to be broken. In a lot of cases, multiple cold periods are Required to do so with Issai Kiwi seeds. It can be quite hard to get this variety to germinate so just be patient. They are "Definitely More than Worth the Wait" Considering Each Fruit Vine can Produce up to 100lbs of Fresh Kiwis Each Year! Will ship as soon as payment is received.
