Description: White Ironstone Elsmore and Forster Portland Shape with Copper Luster in Morning Glory Coffee Pot 9.75 inches high x 9.5 inches spout to handle, c. 1850's. Octagonal panels, high looped handle, flower finial. Copper luster outlining of molded details and morning glory motif on both sides. Unmarked as usual for hollow ware. Portland shape is hown in fig. 16-41 of Whtherbee, White Ironstone, 1996. Fine condition with fine glaze crazing and slight age toning. No chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs.
