Description: INTERSTELLAR IMAX FILM CELL Romilly Did Not Survive (Full IMAX). The pictured frame is the exact cell you will receive. This is a genuine frame of film from an IMAX print of Interstellar. I was lucky enough to see this movie on a real 70mm IMAX (film, not digital) screen and it was amazing. This is a unique collectible as real film seems to be going the way of the dinosaur. Every frame of film is at least 1/24 second different from any other frame (although many frames may appear similar) so it is one of a kind in that sense. This "cell" came from an actual print used to project Interstellar, so it may have very light scratches, improperly cut frames and other imperfections, but that is what makes this so cool. It is not a reproduction. This is the real deal. Note that while all of these film cells are from an IMAX print, some shots fill the whole frame and some are widescreen. Full frame cells were shot with an IMAX camera. Widescreen (black bar at the top and bottom on the frame) cells were shot on 35mm film and then converted to 70mm IMAX. This is the way it was projected in 70mm IMAX. The movie shifted aspect ratios depending on the shot. Since this is a motion picture, some frames (more common) may capture closed eyes, backs of heads, goofy faces, motion blur, etc., but other frames (less common) are just simply amazing! I am including a photo of the promo sticker on the front of the slipcover for reference only (not included in the auction). The cell will be shipped in a plastic protector. I am always happy to combine items to save on shipping costs. Please message me to make arrangements. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to shoot me a message. Happy bidding.
