As can be seen in pictures, the dust jacket is in poor condition, although could be said to be serviceable. Has tears, missing pieces, and foxing. Disposal might be best option, but that is up to owner. By contrast, the cover is quite nice, with a striking contrast between the green cover fabric, and the gilt design and lettering. Straight spine and good corners. Outer page edges have very light staining/smudges. Binding has thin split at title page and hint of split at rear endpaper. Remainder of binding is good. Personalized inscription by author on title page. Pages are clean and in good condition with no markings. Line-drawing illustrations.
