Description: This listing is for a vintage Indonesia American Geographical Society Around the World Program 1957 Book. It has had only one owner and is in very good condition. It is softcover and measures 5 1/2 in. by 8 1/4 in. This is part of a series that introduces the reader to the history, culture, geography, and customs of various countries; this booklet concentrates on Indonesia. This is a part of a series of publications which are historical and extremely informative in nature. Each book originally came with a set of colorful stamps that the reader was to glue onto the appropriate page. The stamps are glued to appropriate spots in the text, creating color illustrations. There is no torn pages, underlining, highlighting, or writing, and the covers lay flat. The only flaw I see is the staples that hold the book together have rusted (picture 12). All in all it is in very good condition considering it is 62 years old! It is from a smoke free home.
