Description: This is a signed letter from the Indianapolis Union Railway. The letter, dated May 14, 1928, is typed on a sheet of the company stationery. The letter was written and signed by M. A. Webster, who was an assistant treasurer, purchasing agent, and paymaster for the company. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to further identify this man. The letter was sent from Webster's office in Indianapolis,Indiana. His name is inkstamped near the top left corner of the letter, just above the name of J. I. Ferguson, the manwho previously held his position. The letter is addressed to the Sagalowsky Brothers,an Indianapolis scrap metal company. The letter andthe equipment list are held together by an old triangularpaper clip. There is some wear to the pages that wascaused by that paper clip. Otherwise, the letter and the equipment list are in good condition, with moderate wear. Please see scans for more details. Shipping is FREE via USPS First Class Mail.
