Description: This is a very nice antique Indian Wars era cartridge box. It is a Frasier pt. of 1872, and stamped reissued 1878, McKenney &co. New York. This box has a very fine brass N G - National Guard plate, nice hinges and good stiching except for the curved upper end flaps . The two small curved supports for the upper cover, at the ends are coming loose at the stiching. The leather is pliable and in good shape also.
