Description: Incredible 14K Gold Large Black Cameo Pin Pendant in great used condition and about 1 3/4 by 1 5/16 not including the bail. It features a beautiful victorian woman with flowers and birds. Sort of cheery, but it resembles mourning jewely. One little dent on the front and someone put a cut in the back to test for gold, but that is a minor problem, and you don't even see it when you wear it. I believe this is a modern comercially made Cameo in a vintage 14K gold mounting. This cameo features what appears to be the Roman Goddess Venus with Doves. Venus was associated with Doves, and a Roman Goddess makes sense since so many Cameos are made in Italy. Unmarked but assayed and guaranteed to be 14K gold. I don't clean or polish vintage jewelry.
