Description: In The Beginning~Christmas Cats~47.5" x 58" Wall Quilt Kit (includes fabric for top of quilt & binding) The Christmas Cats wall quilt is made from pieced cat and tree blocks along with pieced sashing between the blocks and one outer border. The tree blocks are foundation pieced, and the cat blocks are traditionally pieced. FABRIC: Christmas Cats was designed by Jason Yenter for In The Beginning Fabrics and features fun and retro style Christmas cat prints along with several coordinates perfect for cat people Christmas quilts and projects! 100% cotton digital print fabric. Machine wash cold, gentle cycle, no bleach, tumble dry low. The kit contains a purchased copy of the Christmas Cats quilt pattern/instructions by Jason Yenter for In The Beginning Fabrics along with enough fabric to complete the quilt top and edge binding as shown in picture 1. Backing fabric and batting will need to be purchased separately. The overall finished size of this quilt as pictured is 47.5" x 58". This kit includes all the fabrics required for the quilt top and binding as shown in the first picture excluding the backing. There are no substituted fabrics in this kit. Pictures 2 thru 10 show the fabrics that are included in the kit. NOTE: A small piece of Solid White fabric from In The Beginning is also in the kit but not pictured. Pattern recommends 3-3/8 yards of fabric for your backing (horizontal seam) assuming a 44/45" width along with an 56" x 66" piece of batting. Additional fabric could be needed if using a directional print or fabric design matching. BACKING FABRIC AND BATTING ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS KIT. You can purchase coordinating fabric from the collection for your backing if you desire, and it will be shipped with your kit.
