Description: This is a vintage pre-owned Imperial By Salem China Co. Service Plate with a cobalt blue rim overlaid with 23 karat gold filigree. There is fruit design in the center of the plate and under the fruit the artists signature M. Langbroek, is displayed. Made in the 1940s by the Salem China Co. of Salem, Ohio, U.S.A. It measures approximately 10 5/8" in diameter and is numbered on the back side 51. In good pre-owned vintage condition with no cracks, chips or crazing. Note: there is a small black mark above the artists signature (see photo) but this is not a crack or crazing. Also, a couple blemishes on the back of the plate and a small streak of faint blue on the back (see photos).
