Description: Candlewick Butter Dish #400/276 by the Imperial Glass Company. This butter dish was produced from 1950-1966 and is extremely hard to find. It was named the California butter because it fits the size of the butter sections sold in California. It is 6 3/4”L in wonderful used condition with no chips or cracks in the dish or lid. Like new! Candlewick is the most popular pattern that Imperial ever made. More pieces were produced in this pattern than in any other Imperial pattern produced. Candlewick was made for almost 50 years and found its way into many homes. Candlewick was primarily produced in crystal, but some pieces were made in colors.
