Description: Beautiful Life Like E8 locomotive for Pennsylvania RR #5804-A (A unit). This unit is in excellent condition inside and out. The paint job (nice rich brown with gold road name, numbering, and stripes) is still perfect with very crisp numbers, lettering, striping, and PRR emblems. The interior has no dust accumulation or excessive grease or gear oil. The motor turns very freely with no drag or noticeable resistance. All weights and the motor are in place and secure. The copper wire on the motor armature is clean and shiny with no sign of tarnish or corrosion. It was power tested on a 36” flex test track and it ran very well in forward and reverse at high speed, and low. It is weighted very well and is very stable on the track. The light works. When power was cut it coasted to a smooth stop in forward and reverse. It has the powerful CO CO wheel configuration. It is indeed a beautiful locomotive. As nice as it is, it is pre owned and is being sold as is.
