The buttons are accented with gold.It is in remarkable condition except the stoppers for the salt and pepper shakers are missing but easily replaced.There are no chips or cracks but there are manufacturing flaws such as a very few craze lines, bits of kiln grit, erroneous clay bits in the interior and glaze pops.
