Description: Ibanez Super 80 "flying fingers" 70’s/80’s Humbucker. Real deal rare pickup! I originally needed 2 years ago and bought this but then found a pair so I don’t need this one. It’s the wax potted style, not the epoxy. I think these came out first (1976/1977) and then went to epoxy. My 1978 2680 has epoxy. This one had a shorter lead but I extended it to 12” so you can use it as a neck too. Output is 7.82k. I had the cover off to see how it was made and to try to lengthen the lead inside but it’s totally surrounded in wax so I nixed that idea.
