Hummel figurine Hum 98. "Sister" TMK 1 * Crown Mark incised * large size

Description: original Goebel Hummel figurine # Hum 98. "Sister" by Goebel incised TMK 1 "Crown" and stamped TMK 2 "Full Bee" Height 14 cm (about 5 1/2 inches). TMK 1 "Crown Mark" incised and TMK 2 "Full Bee" stamped. This is a double trademark figurine, sold in the very early 1950s. The figurine itself was made in the late 1940s with the incised TMK 1 "crown" in the mold. It was actually painted and sold in the early 1950s. Under the base initialsof Goebel's paintress Lina Hofmann. This figurine was originally modeled by master sculptor Arthur Möller in 1938. Old style, shiny finish. In the last picture I added to compare the size the small new version 98/2/0 (about 4 inches). The figurine is well kept and in excellent condition with no damage, chips, crazing, repairs or the likes. Please feel free to contact me anytime for further information.
