Description: original Goebel Hummel figurine # Hum 112 "Just Resting" by Goebel incised TMK 1 "Crown" * Late 1930s Height about 13.5 cm (about 5 1/4 inches). TMK 1 "Crown Mark" incised. The figurine was made between 1938 and 1949. It has under the base an incised TMK 1 "Crown Mark". Incisded "112" only. This makes it an early piece, made in the late 1930s. Black initials of Goebel's painter Otto Lieb under the base. This figurine was originally modeled by master sculptor Reinhold Unger in 1938. There is light crazing, mainly on the base. In the last picture I placed a "little sister" Hum 112/3/0 (4 inches) next to it to compare the size. You buy only the large figurine (last picture left figurine). The figurine is well kept and in excellent condition with no damage, chips, repairs or the likes. Please feel free to contact me anytime for further information.
