Made in Japan in the 60s - 70s, these studio headphones are perfect for DJs and studio monitoring. They're also perfect if you're a songwriter and/or singer who likes to work in your home studio. I acquired these headphones in the early 1970s while briefly working as operations manager of a radio station in Hendersonville, TN. I used them throughout the seventies while a songwriter and singer in Nashville. Then, I continued to use them at home for the past 40 years while singing, songwriting, recording demos, and playing an electric keyboard and guitar. I absolutely LOVE them, and I'm selling them only because... I can't take them with me! CONDITION: VERY GOOD TO EXCELLENT. They sound great, and there are no rips, tears, or holes in the vinyl -- only a few minor scratches in the chrome. With minimal cleaning, the chrome is now bright and shiny. The only wear to note is on the black vinyl ear cup covers. The black has faded a little in spots and is gray now. Please view the photos with the Zoom feature. BTW... the silver chromeand adjustable black vinyl headband make for a comfortable and stylish fit. The connectivity is: 6.35 mm/1/4". The dual volume control feature is great. Spin the protruding "E" logo on either ear cup to increase or decrease the volume for that separate ear. The dual volume and over-the-headband ensure high-quality sound and long-time listening comfort. Measurements: cup diameter 4.25" & depth: 3.5". My hope is that someone who really appreciates these headphones will acquire them, take good care of them, and then pass them down so another generation or two can enjoy them.
