Description: This huge and beautiful vintage Afghan choker-necklace was handmade during the mid-1900's for the nomadic Kuchi tribe of Central Asia. It is vintage tribal-jewelry, not a new reproduction. This amazing old necklace has a flexible neckband with three large red/blue crescent beads. Below, two long tiers of beaded-connectors have multiple rows of beaded bells, medallions, and charms. A colorfully hand-beaded band extends along the lower-edge. This stunning, collectible, old necklace is in excellent condition, with a warm age-patina and mild wear-patterns. Please note that patina tends to reflect the light when photographed, so items may appear brighter in images than they really are.
