It's made to light a room from the wall instead of the ceiling. It could light a wall across the room but will not turn around to face the wall it is mounted on. (I tried). I could change the fitter to a top-mount and add a gooseneck if you need it to face the wall. I'd have to add $90 for that. This is also considered a parking lot light. Mount it on a wall or a post to light up a good-sized area. Always used indoors, it is in wonderful condition. This guy is BIG! The electrical is in excellent condition, freshly wired. There is old paint on the Crouse Hinds wall-mount and fitter.
