Description: *** I SHIP TO ADDRESSES IN THE USA ONLY *** This Pottery Plate was manufactured by Crown Ducal to commemorate THE INVESTITURE OF THE PRINCE OF WALES in 1969 for H.R.H PRINCE CHARLES. A wonderful depiction of the Welsh Red Dragon, standing on a bed of national flowers, dominates the center of the plate. Just beneath the image is, "THE INVESTITURE AT CAERNARVON OF H.R.H. THE PRINCE OF WALES 1ST5 JULY 1969". Around the rim is a non-descript gilding decoration on maroon and white striping. The edge of the rim is gilded. The underside is back-stamped with the Crown Ducal logo and manufacturing information. This piece is in EXCELLENT CONDITION. Prince Charles served in this role longer than any other Prince of Wales in English history!! There is no original box or certificate of authenticity.
