Description: Here is a working, accurate HP 34401a multimeter. The 34401a is a workhorse 6-1/2 digit digital meter which can be found in labs and factories all over the world. It is still one of the most stable and accurate multimeters available and has a reputation for long life and reliabilty. The display brightness is excellent, it is a new replacement. The photos show the meter measuring DC volts AC volts and Ohms using a Fluke 515A calibrator - the readings are within the 90 day specs for the meter as detailed in the owners manual. It passes it's internal Self Test routine. As a side note, this particular meter also has very low warm up drift, 1-2ppm over an hour. Outstanding. The meter has some cosmetic damage to the front panel - upper right corner - nothing serious, please see the photos. And there are scratches here and there on the case. This sale includes a new set of Instek test leads and a line cord. No bumpers or handle on this one. Thanks for looking!
