It is ready for your immediate use. I would mention that the switch alone will work on other Mopar steering wheels (the adapter that the vinyl horn button pushes/snaps onto is of course removable from the switch as it is just attached with three screws), this particular switch did come off an E-body car with the standard woodgrain steering wheel which requires the adapter.
