Description: Delightfully Presented today is an original concept Kachina wall hanging, by Jacob Cook, a carver i have worked with for several years. Jacob is exploring new visions in Kachina art, and is working with painted figures on Cottonwood root. In this huge depiction, we see a Butterfly Kachina, measuring 27 inches tall. It is an intriguing blend of both painting and sculpture. The figure is stately and intricately detailed. It looks beautiful on the wall, although it stands perfectly well on its own. For as impressive and beautiful as it is, it is amazingly priced. i will attach whatever wall-hanging method you would prefer, on this piece, so that it will be specific to your needs. The Cottonwood Root which was used in this monumental work was harvested by me, personally, from a dead Cottonwood in Big Bug Creek, outside of Prescott. i gifted several pieces to Jacob, and this is one of them. i am including a photo of the actual Cottonwood tree. How is THAT for provenance? This is a unique piece which would make a gigantic splash in any Kachina doll collection. Many Thanks for your kind consideration, and as always, Best Regards, Mary
