This tabletop sculpture is made of bonded bronze (bronze powder mixed with resin), finished in a bronze patina and mounted to a black solid wood plinth covered by tan felt on the bottom. The back of the sculpture is inscribed by the artist "Daumier" along with what looks like a limited-edition number. Daumier was famous for his satirical caricatures of French political figures, both in paintings and sculptures. This "Scoffer" stands just over 10" tall on a 3" square base, and weighs almost 2.5 lbs. It's in very good condition with no cracks or breaks ready for your display case or collection.
