Circa 2003 1:32 Scale Made in China Tennis Shoe pimp sells tennis shoes in the Barrio for incredible prices. He actually delivers to your doorstep. He keeps most styles in most sizes in the back of his Purple Escalade. This is not your Flea Market knock-off bootleg crap either. He only sells top of the line name brands and styles like Nike Cortez, Reebok Classic, Air Force One, Jordans and Converse. No one really knows where he gets his shoes at a price that allows him to offer them for so cheap. He claims he has low overhead expenses and comes across hot deals. Yeah, their hot alright, so hot the rubber is melting on their soles. His Escalade has been spotted parked out back of some tennis shoe company factory outlets, so the Homies have their suspicions as to his supply sources. Homies are a series of pvc plastic collectible figurines representing various Chicano Mexican American characters. The line of toys was created by David Gonzales and based on a comic strip that Gonzales created featuring a cast of characters from his youth. Introduced in 1998, Homies were initially sold in grocery store vending machines and have become a highly collectible item, and have spawned many imitation toys. Gonzales created a bio story for each Homie to have their own story. He made sure that the Homies were authentic because they were based on Latinos in his community.
