Close the valve and dry fire the launcher to remove any remaining stored gas in the air system. This on/off eliminates the need to remove your tank to degas your launcher. Leaving your launcher in a degassed or un-charged state extends its life by removing the high pressure gasses which overtime causes damage to internal seals and O-rings.
