Fairbank Company and has various recipes from “leading culinary experts in the United States.” The first 4 or 5 pages are advertisements for Cottolene shortening and book was written specifically as a promo for this product. There are a total of 80 pages including an index at back and short intro at beginning. The recipes are divided by type of meal or food. There is even a section on canning and puddings, and ice cream! There is also a page for “Invalid Cookery,” with a few suggestions of broths/food. Condition: This book, other than having general edge wear and color wear to its covers and some brown toning/spots to its pages, is in good condition for its age! All pages are strongly intact and are present. There are no bends or tears. Binding/spine is strongly intact. Book measures 7.5 inches by 4.75 inches. Shipped with USPS Media Mail.
