Description: This a wind-up ticker tape take-up reel used in fire houses in the 1930's and 40's.I have included a photo from Shorpy.com (great site for vintage photos) where you can see barely see one in use in the lower right hand corner. I do not have the clock key to wind it but it winds up and runs.
