Description: I bought this instrument at a very small music shop, family-owned since the 1980’s. I was told it is a vintage trumpet from the late 1950’s. I took a chance and bought it, in its original case, with original mouthpiece, before I knew how to play. I found a teacher, who was the first to try it out, then we began lessons. I love the sound! He told me it was a good instrument, and would be suitable to keep well into intermediate level. I took lessons for 6-8 months, then my teacher was accepted into military band, and went out of state. This is the only reason I am selling. Selling as is, lightly used, good condition.All valves, slides, and pistons work well. I kept valves oiled with professional-grade lubricant my teacher recommended. There are no dents or dings. There are tarnishes and small spots visible, but that may improve with a professional cleaning, which I have not done. Instrument always kept in case and away from heat or sunlight.
