Hollywood Regency Lamp with Drum Shade, Carl Falkenstein Accent Lamp, Small MCM

Description: The body of this mid century lamp is made out of a glass ball or globe with the color -- creamy white, almost beige, and metallic gold -- painted on the interior, giving it a cased glass look. It has an applied textured decoration of a flower in the center that looks like moriage. It has a teak style neck and is on a brass base.The original shade is a pleated silk drum shade with gold tassels and gold trim. Very 60s.I believe it is a Carl Falkenstein lamp. It was made in the 1960s.This small lamp would look fabulous in a Hollywood Regency, mid century, or retro décor. It would make a perfect vanity lamp, boudoir lamp or accent lamp.It is in excellent vintage condition. It works. It's clean. Minor tarnish on the bottom of the brass base. There's a small light scuff on the back of the shade (9th photo). The wiring is supple and looks great.
