Description: When I say ELECTRIC...JUICY...CRAZY...blooms...I mean IT...the level of electrified jolts of fabulous emanating from this fantastic form of 30's cotton...decorator of course...imagine the chair or sofa upholstered with this beauty...likely a pattern used in catalogs of the period for pre made slipcovers...if I've had 200 boxed collections of those slipcovers over my lifetime...but I am sure I've lost count...the most delightful are the boxed slipcovers that are unused and unopened...why its like opening presents on Christmas morning some 80 years later. The joys of vintage...they get me in my heart every time. So while this fabric is simply yardage...it was of the ilk of those wonderful slipcovers of the day. This offering is for ONE huge piece of unused unwashed yardage from the late 30's...a ribbed cotton texture...considered one of the original 17 textures sold as barkcloth in the 30's 40's and 50's. A putty gray that is over sophisticated and full of cottage SWANK...electric juicy colors come to life so spectacularly...magenta pinks...deep dark burgundy merlot...chartreuse lemon yellow...dove gray...deep dark turquoise teal...asparagus lime...dark lime...eggplant purple...with white accents on a creamy dove gray ground. If you love to time travel...well owning this vintage will certainly give you a two way ticket. Expect flawless. Measures 36 inches wide x 90 inches long.
