Description: Estate item from my Aunt's non-smoking home: History of the World War, an Authentic Narrative of the World's Greatest War. Detailed historical accounting of World War I by Francis A March, Ph.D., in collaboration with Richard J. Beamish, special war correspondent and military analyst.Introduction by General Peyton C. March, Chief of Staff of the US Army.Illustrated with reproductions from the official photographs of the United States, British and French governments.Includes Summarized Chronology of the War 1914-1918 at the back of the book.Copyright 1918, published 1919.736 pages; volume is 9-1/2" (24.1 cm) x 6-1/2" (16.5 cm) x 1-3/4" (4.4 cm).Very good estate condition: wear to corners of cover, some fading and stains from handling. No writing, tears to pages. Slight wear to binding, but all pages appear to be intact.Separation of front free end papers (see pic #6.)There are a couple binding errors: pp. 342-348 and pp. 369-376 were printed correctly and are completely readable, but have creases. Page 342 is unevenly bound and frayed at the top as a result. This does not detract from readability of the text. Please examine pictures closely, as they are part of the description.~~~~~ =^..^= ~~~~~ Condition: This item is described to the best of my ability; please email me prior to bidding if you have any questions or concerns.
