History of Sleeper's Tenth Massachusetts Battery in the War of the Rebellion

Description: History of the Tenth Massachusetts Battery of Light Artillery in the War of the Rebellion --------------------------------------------- By John D. Billings A member of the Company, Author of "Hardtack and Coffee" Originally published in 1909, This is a reprint by Butternut and Blue, undated but ca. 1990 ---------------------------------------------- Hardcover. Fine Condition, clean inside. This book is a photographic reprint. It was made from good condition , original copy of a book that was photographed / scanned and printed. Some modern editions reset the text, making it feel like a new book. This "reads" like the old original. This style of reprint give you a nice feel of "originality" that most modern reprints do notgive you. In my opinion, if you are going to buy a reprinted title - this style is the way to go. This is a very good quality, printed by a very reputable civil war book publisher. It is not a "print on demand" or mass-market reprint as offered by big book companies / retailers. ---------------------------------------------- The service of the 10th Massachusetts Light Artillery, named "Sleeper's Battery" for the battery commander, Captain Jacob Henry Sleeper.
