It was an historic event in the Middle East. First time an Arab leader visited Israel four year after the Yom- Kippur War between the two countries . In the first photo is seen the Egyptian leader with Shimon Perez leader of the Opposition that time and Golda Meir former Prime Minister of Israel . (P.M. during The Yom- Kippur War in October 1973) . Due to that historic visit, it opened a new process of peace between the two countries. Anwar Sadat was assassinated in Egypt four years after this visit. It was during the event of military parade in Egypt on 6.10.1981 commemorating that famous War . In the second photo, The Egyptian President during that visit , hosted during the event in Jerusalem by Menachem Begin, the Prime Minister of Israel (right) and Moshe Dayan Foreign Minister of Israel. Condition: the two photos are generally in fine condition .On the back of the photo of Anwar Sadat , Shimon Perez and Golda Meir , are a few stains . Bents are in both photos .
