With an upward-opening lid and casters, this Hirayama sterilizer can be transported easily around the lab without interfering with any other equipment. This top load autoclave can be opened and closed with one hand and features a dual sensing lid interlock to prevent the chamber from opening while under pressure. Other features of this Hirayama Sterilizer include an Agar sterilization mode, where agar is rapidly melted and then automatically maintained at liquid temperature, a door closure sensor that will not allow a cycle to begin if the door is not closed properly, and a built-in cooling fan to cool the unit after sterilization is complete. The controls are simple push button controls, and an LED display shows your temperature, timer, and the status of the cycle running.
