Description: Technical Product BulletinRIGID STAKING COMPOUND EPOXY ADHESIVE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:AA-BOND 28 is a two part, high Strength, heat-resistant and low exothermic, epoxy adhesive formulation. It is a 100% solid epoxy adhesive, with superior chemical resistance and shear strength. AA-BOND 28 contains a thixotropic agent which impedes thinning out of the material during heat cure when properly mixed and cured. Takes 24 hours to Cure / full hold and harden. Do not move after 1 hours until it fully cures.You have 1 hour work time which is the amount of time you have to apply the product before it begins to dry.Industrial grade bond to all substrates. The only two substrates which exhibit a weak bond are rubber and plastics.Comes with two mixing tips. Simply remove cap, twist and dispense product through the mixing tip. The mixing tip will not be usable if you stop dispensing for an hour. Keep tip attached until next use at which time you can replace it.This 10ML cartridge also comes with a plunger so a dispensing gun is not needed. HOW TO USE:1) Carefully clean and dry all surfaces to be bonded. 2) Apply AA-BOND 28 completely mixed adhesive to the prepared surfaces, and gently press these surfaces together. Contact pressure is adequate for strong, reliable bonds; however, maintain contact until adhesive is completely cured. 3) Some separation of components is common during shipping and storage. For this reason, it is recommended that the contents of the shipping container be thoroughly mixed prior to use. 4) Some ingredients in this formulation provided may crystallize when subjected to low temperature storage. A gentle warming cycle of 52°C for 30 minutes prior to mixing components may be necessary. Crystallized epoxy components do not react as well as liquid components and should be re-dissolved prior to use for best results.
