Description: HERMANOS ‘Cantare, Cantaras (I Will Sing, You Will Sing)’ 7" Vinyl Single from 1985 (Cat N° 38-05423) ‘Cantaré, Cantarás’ was recorded as a fundraising effort in support of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) campaign in Latin America. Inspired by the recording of USA for Africa’s ‘We Are The World,’ which had been recorded same year, 1985, songwriter and producer Albert Hammond co-founded the non-profit organization HERMANOS which brought together more than 50 high-profile Spanish-speaking music artists to perform the title song on this single. It was recorded in Los Angeles at A&M Studios, the same used for ‘We Are the World.’ A behind-the-scenes special about this project was filmed in La Paz, Bolivia and hosted by Ricardo Montalban. Vinyl (reportedly unplayed) looks to be in Excellent or better condition. Sleeve, which shows a modicum of shelf-, edge-, and ringwear, is in Very Good Plus condition.
