The Xceed is 100% waterproof thanks to the integrated seal which allows you to also have 100% confidence to invest in protecting your belongings from the elements. The case is comprised of 1.5mm thick anodized aluminum and surrounded with high impact resistant plastic on all that would be first to touch. The same plastic extends upwards to form two ergonomic handles; one for each hand if loaded with gold. Correspondingly, one hand can be used to carry the case if empty as it weighs just shy of ten pounds. The top loading lid provides quick and easy access to load and unload the gold. In addition to this, the lid is removable and can be opened from either side. This is helpful because it now requires less room to open or detach; leaving more room to maneuver with a top case or rear bag. Underneath the lid you will find a storage net to maximize every cubic inch of this space which as we all know is a premium on two wheels. The same key that locks both sides of the lid is also used to lock the case to the side carrier. As every Hepco & Becker case works, the case is first inserted into the side carrier by lining up the groove on the case with the side carrier frame. Second, you open the bear hook like latch to grab onto the side carrier; then lock with the turn of a key and you’re set!
