Boards worn along edges with brief exposure; 3" crack along top of front joint; front board bowed towards fore-edge with minor dampstaining; ghost of a label to base of spine but no other institutional markings; general scuffing. Binding sound. Front free endpaper present but nearly detached; modern pencil scribblings to preliminaries; contemporary ownership inscription to title page; occasional spotting to interior and marginal dampstaining to final few leaves but text overall clear and legible throughout.
