Originally published in 1934 by the Obelisk Press in Paris, France, but banned in the US, this is the stated "First Printing" of the first US edition published by Grove Press in 1961. Notorious for its candid sexuality, the U.S. Supreme Court declared the book non-obscene in 1964. Book is NF/VG+ condition, book is gently read, binding remains tight and square, text free of wear or marking. DJ is not clipped ($7.50) and is protected in a mylar protector.
