Henckels 31625-200 Chef’s Knife features an 8" High-Carbon Stainless Blade and a Rugged Black Thermoplastic Handle. Made in Solingen Germany, this knife has only a few tiny chips to the blades edge and some tiny black carbon stains on the flat sides of the blade. Despite some negative aesthetics those two tiny defects present, neither of those have much detrimental effect on the knives cutting performance. On the plus side this classic Henckels chefs knife is exceptionally sharp and with its comfortable handle, it’s ready to take on nearly any food prep task. We are including an EdgeCraft Chefs Choice Diamond Hone 460 knife sharpener with chrome finish with the Henckels knife purchase. This is a well known & respected manufacturer of knife sharpeners and this particular model features a 2 stage sharpening process that utilizes diamond coated, angled steel sharpening blades as well as a slot for sharpening serrated blades. It has some wear marks to the chrome plating and some slight loss of the lettering graphics, but seems to function fine. It’s the perfect companion for the Henckels chef knife!
