We are an all volunteer cat rescue with no salaried employees. We received no grants and rely on your kindness! This listing is for a photo of a rescued kitten family via eBay messaging or email. These kittens were born of hard to trap feral mom named "Chippy". We wanted to trap earlier but her 4 week old kittens were stolen which made it difficult to trap her. Without her kittens, she became harder to trap and pregnant again. Fortunately we were able to trap her kittens and then the mom cat. It is important for the mom to continue to nurse her kittens for their health and hers. Her three kittens, 2 girls Chanda and Caila and one boy (tuxedo) named "Chase" are sweet as can be, friendly and playful. The two girls were finally adopted together. In the meantime we need to raise money to help cover costs for food, spaying, neutering, vaccinate etc. We included a Best Offer for Buyers who want to give more! Thank you so much for helping. Purchase more than one! Freya's Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, all volunteer cat rescue. Our primary focus is to care for a feral cat colony of strays, abandoned, and homeless cats and kittens. We spay, neuter, vaccinate and microchip the cats for their health and well-being. We offer education about feral cat care and encourage new cat owners the importance of spaying/neutering pets for their health and to alleviate unwanted behaviors that may result in their future abandonment. Sanctuary is offered to many cats in need. To make a tax-deductible contribution, DIRECTLY without a purchase, please favorite Freya's Cat Rescue on eBay's Giving Works, then you can donate directly "any" amount on the right side of the page.: https://givingworks.ebay.com/charity-auctions/charity/Freya-s-Cat-Rescue/72635/?charity-item-sort=StartTimeNewestWe rescue kittens after allowing the mom to completely nurse. We spay, neuter, vaccinate, de-worm (naturally), microchip and trim nails. Your donation helps pay for these expenses and the cost of food and litter until they are adopted. Veterinary care is expensive! Even though we TNR, sometimes though, kittens are born as you can see from the photos, they are adorable. We have cared for feral cat colonies and rescued kitties for more than 16 years. It is common these days for people to simply let their unwanted cats outside thinking they will care for themselves. This is not true! House cats intentionally placed outdoors have not developed the survival skills necessary to live outside. Sometimes their cat develops unwanted behaviors because they weren't spayed or neutered so they let their cat out and guess what happens? The female becomes pregnant and the male locates every fertile female in the neighborhood! Then, more kittens! Some of the cats in this colony were once someone's beloved pet who was betrayed and left outside. These special kitties were fortunate to form this colony. Every once in awhile another new cat comes to visit, or is dumped by others knowing these cats are well cared for, then stays. Every year between October - December more cats appear - dropped off by other rescue people or folks who no longer want their cats. It is very expensive feeding and caring for so many so many cats.We also spend a lot of time building shelters and homes for them with large plastic or Rubbermaid(R) boxes, duct tape, insulation and straw. When we can financially, we purchase a larger cat or dog house so many cats can sleep together, sheltered from the rain and snow.During this past several brutal winters many of their houses were destroyed from several feet of heavy snow and fallen branches from surrounding trees. We were fortunate that no kitties were harmed yet we needed to rebuild! We replaced some houses with more to go.. Supplies are costly and add up over time. One of our feeding stations was recently vandalized and needs to be replaced. The kitties are fed both moist, canned and dry food every day. Vitamins and Lysine are added to their food to protect and support their immune system. With all the rain we have had, kitties just can't get a break and may develop eye infections that require costly eye salve called terramycin. Winter is especially rough in New Jersey and winter feral care maintenance equally costly.I know it's tough for a lot of people out there economically. The cats appreciate any support you can offer. We also purchase cat food, vitamins, Brewers Yeast, and other cat supplies for them right here on eBay! We also receive "eBay bucks" when items are purchased through eBay so the more donations we receive here, the more we can purchase for the cats through eBay. 100% of your purchase goes to the cats. We are an all volunteer rescue with no salaried employees. Check out my other items!Be sure to add me to your favorites list!
