Description: Heller USS Forrestal Supercarrier 1:600 Scale Ship Model Kit 81065 - Open Box Open Box / Unassembled Nice 34-year-old vintage kit. As it's open box, I performed a full assessment of all parts and found 3 small parts are missing (details below). Original assembly instructions and decals are included; decals in excellent condition. Majority of the parts are still on their sprues; loose parts have been bagged for shipping. Box is in fair condition; one corner of the box lid has split and there is damage to one of the side panels; otherwise, box is structurally sound. Kit inspection results:there are numerous small aircraft included in this kit intended to be placed on supercarrier deck; one of the aircraft types (Part 184/185/186/187/188/189) should include 6 copies of the same item, but there are only 5 of themin Step 2 of the assembly instructions, Part 69/70/71/72 are to be inserted into Part 65/66/67/68; only two of the first part are included, the other two were removed from the sprue and I couldn't locate them; this looks like a defensive deck gun (not 100% sure) and the missing part would likely not even be noticed as it's very tinyin Step 1 of the assembly instructions, Part 53/54/55/56 has already been inserted into Part 49/50/51/52; looks to be the barrel of a large caliber gun; apparently someone started this kit but didn't get past Step 1Please see pictures for details of what is included and condition.
