Heller Messerschmitt B.f 108 B "Taifun" Plane 1/72 scale model kit

Description: This model kit is an open-box kit, but all parts and decals should be present and in decent condition. There are two parts that seem to have developed a slight moldy film during storage. This could probably be rubbed off with a warm damp cloth. Please see close-up photos for more information. These model kits are from my Grandfather’s Estate. Granddad collected models and kits from the 1950’s through the 90’s, and I will be offering many of them that my father does not want to keep. Almost all of the kits are airplanes and jets in 1/72 scale. Most kits are Revell, Airfix, MPC, (MPC was the American distributer for Airfix), Monogram, Hasegawa, & AMT (AMT was an American distributer for Frog and Hasegawa, before Hasegawa packaged their kits under the MiniCraft label or their own Hasegawa label) and a few from Heller and Tamiya. If there are particular vintage airplane kits in 1/72 scale that you may want, particularly Airfix or Revell, you may email and I will get my father to check and see if he has it. My father sold many of the kits at a modeling convention, but there are still 200+ kits. Currently, I will be listing MPC and Hasegawa jets in 1/72 scale kits. Most of these kits appear to be from the mid-1970’s to early 1980’s. The Hasegawa kits set new standards for quality and detail at that time. They compare favorably to the most modern kits at a fraction of the price. My father is an avid modeler and he checks each kit that has been opened and verifies that all the parts are accounted for, including the decals and instructions. Unless otherwise noted, the boxes are judged to be in good condition, with no mold. Granddad’s house was smoke free. All decals in this kit may be usable, but if they do fail, appropriate decals should be readily available online.
