Description: Helena Wolfsohn Dresden Hand Painted Watteau Scene Pink & Floral & Gold Leaf Dish Beautiful porcelain leaf shaped dish. Decorated in the center with a hand painted scene depicting a man and woman by the water. Has a border of pink fish scales and small pink, orange, yellow, purple and blue flowers framed by gold gilding. With hand painted pink, blue, orange, yellow, and purple flowers on the outside. Marked on the bottom with the Augustus Rex AR mark, which was used by Helena Wolfsohn between 1879 and 1883. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 4 7/8 inches wide including the handle x 1 3/4 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
